Musical Depot LLC is a locally owned and operated retail store in Florence SC. We started as an online store in 2003 and felt we had some programs to help our community.
We opened our retail store location in February 2005 and we have been steadily growing since.
Our vision was to provide affordable musical instruments and accessories for everyone. We have a full retail store to purchase all your musical instruments, accessories, lighting, and more.
Our rental and purchase program for band and orchestra instruments has grown to 84 schools and 9 counties. We love serving our area schools and appreciate all the support from band directors, booster clubs, administration, parents, and students.
We opened a School of Music in June of 2007 at our store with 9 private lesson studios.. We have over 175 students that attend. We offer lessons in guitar, percussion, piano, voice, woodwind, brasswind, bass guitar, violin, viola, banjo, and mandolin. This is a great passion of ours and we love so much watching students learn.
We have 9 of the most wonderful, motivated, positive instructors.
we have a New Program called Student Jam for all active students on Saturday's year round and is a FREE program.
MDR Recording Studios is open, we offer recording, mixing, and mastering, as well as group photos. Visit our recording page for more info and pricing.
We also offer local repairs on all instruments, we feel that we don't just sell instruments but can provide the service you need when something goes wrong with the instrument.
We opened our live venue on February 20th at 8 pm called "The Depot" Music Venue and Internet Cafe, a place to come listen to great music and hang out with friends. Coffee, tea, sodas, and snacks are available. There is a dance floor, stage, pool table, and video games also.
We continue to grow adding more new programs and products to meet the needs of our local musicians.
